The MLX81109 LIN slave controller is compliant with LIN 2.0, LIN 2.1 and LIN 2.2, as well as SAE J2602 and includes a LIN transceiver and a protocol controller. The chip has up to twelve I/Os, four of which can be programmable constant current high voltage capable I/Os, and four that can be 16-bit PWM outputs.
The 5 x 5 mm QFN20 packaged IC includes a voltage regulator and a 16-bit MCU with 32 Kbytes of flash. It has an SPI interface, a temperature sensor, and a 20-channel A/D converter, and works over –40° to 125°C. From $1.56 ea/5,000.
