Vertical caps fit apps with limited headroom

The SVZ Series multilayer ceramic capacitors are “Verti-Zontal” (vertically oriented, horizontally stacked), designed for applications with limited headroom. By orienting individual capacitors vertically, then series can limit overall height, while the stack itself extends horizontally across the mounting area on the board.

Housed in a lead frame that isolates them from thermal and mechanical stress and has a low center of gravity for shock and vibration resistance, the capacitors suit power applications and input/output filters.
