VF-based mini- terminals are improved

As part of a line of vacuum-fluorescent-based, rear-mount mini-terminals,
the 390X-A1 has a 1 x 40 display and a 2 x 11 keypad. Other versions have
a 2 x 20 display with a 4 x 5 keypad or a 2 x 40 display and a 2 x 11
keypad. The device has an 11 Kbyte EPROM (upgraded from 3 Kbytes), which
can store up to 127 display messages, up to 64 switch closure messages,
and up to 64 switch release messages. The terminal displays the standard
96-character U.S. ASCII character set as well as European and scientific
alternate characters. An on-board microprocessor controls the ASCII
display input and the encoded switch output via an RS-232-C port. Power
requirements are 5 Vdc. The operating temperature range is 0 degrees to 70
degreesC and the device meets NEMA 12 sealing requirements. ($229 to $306
