Video amplifiers offer low power

The six-channel THS7365 and three-channel THC7319 video amplifiers support HDTV and SDTV, and EDTV, respectively. Operating from 2.6 to 5.5 V, the THS7365 consumes 21.6 mA at 5 V and 20.7 mA at 3.3 V, integrates sixth-order Butterworth fixed filter, and offers a bypass mode with up to 250-MHz bandwidth to support full HD 1080p60 or UWXGA video.

The THS7319 operates from 2.5 to 5.5 V, integrates a 3rd order Butterworth fixed filter, and offers a quiescent current of 1.1 mA/channel and 0.15 µA in powerdown mode. The THS7365 is housed in a TSSOP-20 package and the THS7319 is available in a MicrostarCSP. (Ea/1,000: THS7365, $0.70; THS7319, $0.85 — available now.)
