The FP-JPEG2K JPEG2000 video compression mezzanine card is based on two ADV212 codecs and a low-cost SPARTAN-3AN FPGA. It has two mini Camera-Link connector inputs and provides a compression rate 25 times more efficient than JPEG.
The card is intended for use with the company’s JPEG2000 platform FPGA cards. The daughter card can either encode the data before or after the advanced video/imaging processing implemented in the dual Virtex-4/Virtex-5 FPGA-based boards. ($1,495—4 to 6 weeks ARO.)
