The 88DE2750 digital video-format converter IC with second-generation Qdeo video processing targets Blu-ray players and recorders, set-top-boxes, networked media players, and digital TVs. It converts HD, SD, and low-resolution video into any desired output format up to and including 1080p and 4Kx2K, producing images free from noise and artifacts.

The converter enables 8-bit consumer video to use the full dynamic range of 10-bit and 12-bit displays and allows consumer video devices to take advantage of the popular HDMI 1.3 Deep Color interface. ($5 ea/250,000 — samples available now.)
