Video interface bridge ICs target mobile

The CrossLink programmable bridging devices support leading protocols for mobile image sensors and displays, providing a low cost video interface bridge with high bandwidth, low power, and very small footprint. Four versions of the LIF-MD6000-xx support popular interfaces such as MIPI D-PHY, MIPI CSI-2, MIPI DSI, MIPI DPI, CMOS, and SubLVDS, and LVDS.

All versions offer 5,936 LUTs, 108 Kbits of memory and require just 5 to 135 mW of power, typically, with a 300 µW  sleep mode. For one example, the devices will yield the fastest MIPI D-PHY bridging available with 4K UHD resolution at 12 Gbits/s bandwidth. CrossLink ICs can also multiplex, merge and arbitrate between multiple image sensors to a single port. They come in tiny 2.5 to 6.5 mm square packages. Samples available now.
