Video-processing unit aids surveillance

The HALO-SE video-processing unit provides next-generation low-power real-time processing for image-based surveillance. It provides enhanced vision for day/night operation and under poor weather and in-theatre conditions and up to 150 fps. Capabilities include multichannel video fusion.

Priced at approximately $3,750 each in lots of 100, the 150 x 150 x 100-mm box or 150 x 57-mm board provide adaptive noise filtering, real-time stabilization, artefact removal, enhanced greyscale or color, and distortion correction with nonlinear image contrast enhancement (NICE). They have GigE Vision, CameraLink, Def Stan 00-82, SDI, or CVBS video I/O and use 4.7 to 27 Vdc at less than 3 W.
