VITA 46/48 card has four PowerPC cores

The MPE730 is a 6U VITA 46/48 quad-core PowerPC processor engine with dual Freescale Power Architecture MPC8641D processors and a Serial RapidIO fabric. It has up to 1 Gbyte of DDR2 memory per processor core and a single x8 or dual x4 PCI Express connection.

The board has two XMC/PMC sites, two front-panel GbE ports, and two GbE ports to the backplane. It also has a Virtex-5 LX FPGA that controls power and temperature monitoring, bit stream encryption, and routing of I/O. (From $16,000 12 weeks ARO.)
