VPX backplane features high-speed connectors

The 3U VPX backplane features high-speed connectors for RF and analog signals, which is expected to be important for many mil/aero applications with VITA 46/65 specifications. The backplane uses the multigig connectors in a mesh topology, vastly increasing the potential bandwidth of the system while maintaining backward compatibility.

The unit has a switch slot for centralized switching per VITA 46.20, ESD ground protection in every slot, and an available RoHS-compliant version. (Less than $2,500 — 2 to 3 weeks ARO.)
