Vulcan Flex Circuit Corporation Receives MIL-P-50884 Recertification
LONDONDERRY, N.H., April 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Vulcan Flex Circuit Corporation (VFCC), a division of Vulcan Electric Company, announced today that it has recertified to fabricate flexible printed circuit boards (FPC) in accordance with the requirements of MIL-P-50884.
This particular certification addresses double-sided FPC – also known as Type 2 – and is the second in a series of recertifications to this specification that VFCC has recently obtained. In September of 2011 VFCC received Type 1 certification for single-sided FPC. Next month VFCC anticipates completion of its Type 4 recertification, covering multilayers and rigid-flex.
