VXI module provides 8 analog/digital I/Os
Two VXIbus-compatible universal analog and digital input/output modules,
Models 6060 and 6061, can be configured in eight different combinations of
input and output channels. This permits flexible configurations, whether
the application demands only input, only output, or both. The 6061 offers
completely isolated channels, and provides 750 V isolation
channel-to-channel and channel-to-ground; the 6060 is a nonisolated
version. Both models feature 256 Kbytes of internal memory (512 Kbytes
optional). This permits storage of pattern data and allows generation of
low-speed arbitrary waveforms. Triggering is available for each channel,
which enables the outputs to be used to produce multiple waveforms. An
internal programmable timer allows the rate of each channel to be
controlled. The memory also allows storage of data retrieved from the
digital or analog inputs. In addition to other capabilities, the modules
can also be used as a digital multimeter. Both modules are message-based,
compatible with VXIbus Revision 1.3, and respond to SCPI language
