With so many apps available on Android, iOS, and Windows Phone, it can be difficult to track everything you have ever downloaded. If you’ve downloaded apps to test-drive them, you may forget to put them on your new device.
Luckily, every mobile OS keeps a list of apps you’ve downloaded, informing you if you’ve tried one before, and letting you download it again for free.
Here’s how to find that list on each mobile platform:
Android:
On an Android phone, open the Google Play and tap the three bars on the upper-left corner of the screen. Choose My Apps and Games to view installed apps; scroll over to All to view everything you have ever downloaded, beginning with the most recent.
iOS:
For iOS, open the App Store and choose the Updates tab in the bottom-right of the toolbar. From there, select Purchases and you’ll be brought to a list of every app you’ve ever downloaded on your iPhone or iPad, as well as those you own but aren’t currently on your device. If you believe you’re missing something, tap Not on This iPhone to view owned apps you haven’t installed yet.
Windows 10 mobile:
If you’re running Windows 10 mobile, open the Windows Store, and then click on your profile picture icon. Tap open My Library to see all of your currently installed apps. Click Show All if you want to review everything you’ve every downloaded with your Microsoft account.
