Wear your baggage to avoid luggage fees

Genius Bulgarian company finds way to cheat airport luggage fees

Flying is very rarely fun, but paying ridiculous luggage fees makes it downright infuriating. Which is why Bulgarian company Jaktogo has come up with a solution, presumably to save airport employees from the wrath of rightfully vengeful passengers (that or they just really hate airports): instead of carrying your luggage onto the plane, just wear it.

Jaktogo Jackets

The future is now

What you see before you is lightweight, transformative outerwear designed for easy—and most importantly free—transport of your “soft” luggage. After you pack your luggage, the “Jaktogo” transforms into a wearable jacket, one that cannot be charged for luggage overflow or counted as a checked bag.

This means the company’s namesake product can fit most of the clothing, towels, and small electronics you’re planning to bring with you in its pockets, and you can laugh your way past airport employees and the silly people still carrying bags into the airport as you saunter onto your flight with cash to spare.

Hey, as the company website says: “only fools pay for extra luggage.”

Each Jaktogo is capable of holding up to 22 pounds of luggage, though wearing that much probably won’t be comfortable for you. In addition to their jacket, the company has also created a dress and a poncho, all from wind and water-resistant materials. Plus the designs are relatively cheap: Jaktogo products range from $70-$200, depending on the material.

I would really like to see airports get around this ingenious invention. After all, you can’t outlaw clothing. What are they going to do, charge you for the things you stick in your pockets?
