As this year is shaping up to be the year of the autonomous car, rumors have been released almost weekly on what we can look forward to in the future. Volkswagen’s Dr. Herbert Diess is scheduled to give a keynote speech and unveil a brand new electric vehicle. Faraday Future, a new company focused on automotive innovation, promises to reveal a new concept as well. General Motors CEO Mary Barra plans to reveal the highly anticipated Chevy Bolt, an EV that fits below the price point of the expensive Volt.

Vehicle intelligence and technology will be well represented by a discussion on the IoT expected to debut in vehicles from participants like NVIDIA, Pioneer Electronics, VOXX Electronics, and FEV.

The Internet of Things will have a huge presence as companies and their representatives not only discuss the future of the industry, but reveal tasty new products. Samsung, Qualcomm, and Bosch are all expected to release new smart home products.

Smart tools for working out

Newcomers will also be out in force, presenting and exhibiting their wares for the world to see. OMBra plans to display the first-ever smart bra, developed by OMsignal and capable of monitoring a woman’s biometrics. Riva Audio has a new line of speakers it plans to unveil that allow you to use both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to connect. And unlike most wireless speakers that require you to use a certain music service, Riva’s do not. You may use any service you wish to stream from your smartphone or tablet.

These next few days promise innovative and groundbreaking new technologies and products. Stay tuned!
