White LED delivers up to 160 lumens

3-W InGaN device handles 700-mA drive current

Using an exposed-pad design for efficient heat transfer, the ASMT-Mx20 SMT LED is a 3-W white emitter that can deliver a peak output of 160 lm (140 lm typ) with a drive current of 700 mA at 4 V. Well suited for portable illumination, signage, or backlighting applications because of its 3.3-mm height, the InGaN device has a luminous efficiency of 57 lm/W, x-y chromaticity coordinates of 0.33-0.33, and a 110° viewing angle.

The LED has an ESD of 2 kV and an operating temperature range from –30° to 85°C. (Contact company for pricing—available now.)
