The WizFi630 embedded Wi-Fi gateway module transforms RS-232 and TCP/IP protocol into IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN protocol at 2.4 GHz. WizFi630 enables a device with an RS-232 port to connect to LAN or WLAN for remote control, measurement, or administration, and can also operate as an IP router with it’s embedded switch.
Output power is 14 dBm at 150 Mbits/s using 802.11n. Security includes WEP 64/128bit, WPA/WPA2-PSK TKIP, AES and 802.1x. The module can operate in Gateway, AP (Bridge), AP-Client, Client, or AD-HOC modes and supports three 10/100 Ethernet ports. An evaluation kit is available. (Starting at $35 – available now.)
