Wi-Fi module is FIPS security certified

The RS9113-N00-D0F Wi-Fi module is certified to the FIPS 140-2 security standard used to accredit cryptographic modules. The module is the first in the industry with a completely in-hardware implementation of the AES-CCMP security function, as used in WPA2, that includes the required loopback features.

The device can provide a dual-band 2.4/5 GHz 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi interface with data rates up to 72.2 Mbits/s in systems with minimal host processing power. Typical transmit power is 17 dBm for 802.11g/n OFDM. Receive sensitivity 1s -97dBm and operating temperature is -40° to 85°C. Power requirements were not given.
