The MR75-xxSRW series of single output 75-W converters are packaged in a 2.28 x 1.45 x 0.50-in. case. They target railway/transit applications. Eight standard models operate from wide 43 to 101 Vdc (72 Vdc nominal) or 66 to 160 Vdc (110 Vdc nominal) inputs, providing tightly regulated single outputs of 5, 12, 15 or 24 Vdc. Standard features include line/load regulation less than 1.0%, input/output isolation of 3,000 Vac rms, a remote control input and 92% efficiency.
All dc/dc converters have reinforced insulation and are protected for output short circuit and output over current faults. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) is greater than 143 kh. The pin-out is industry standard. Operation is specified from -40° to +61°C and an optional heat sink is available to extend the full power range of the unit.
