WiFi/Bluetooth module measures 17.0 x 10.0 x 2.2 mm

The Type TN WiFi/Bluetooth module (part number LBEE5ZSTNC-523) offers 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth version 4 including Bluetooth low energy in a highly integrated, compact form factor (17.0 x 10.0 x 2.2 mm). The module is powered by the Texas Instruments WL1271L chipset.

In addition, the Type TN module is the wireless connectivity solution within the TI AM335x microprocessor development platform. Housed in a 62-pin package, the part features a supply voltage of 2.7 to 4.3 Vdc for VBAT, an interface voltage of 1.8 Vdc, and an operating voltage of –30° to 70°C.

Module Type TN is also FCC / IC certified on the Com6M daughter card, a convenient plug-in card to several TI development platforms. Additional development platforms compatible to the plug-in Com6M are the OMAP4 based Blaze platforms, and the DM814x / AM387x platforms. ($25 ea/500-piece reel from distributor stock.)
