Wireless control for smart lighting with internet access block diagram

NXP Wireless Lighting Diagram

The JenNet-IP network connects all lamps and switches together, allowing flexible wireless control of all devices in a house. Each end node has an IPv6 address and can be controlled either individually or as part of a group. This allows the creation of various lighting “scenes”, for example for reading or for watching TV.

As each lamp is connected to the internet, it can easily be controlled by internet connected devices such as smartphones or tablets. Other control devices such as switches or remote controls can be used for everyday convenience. With fully flexible control, energy savings can be made by ensuring that only lamps that are really needed are at full brightness.
