Wireless LAN adapter uses PCMCIA slot

RangeLAN is a wireless LAN adapter for portable computers equipped with a
Type II PCMCIA slot. The device has a range of 300 to 500 ft indoors, or
up to 800 ft outdoors or in a warehouse environment. The adapter allows
mobile users to communicate with existing wired client/server networks or
to set up a peer-to-peer LAN between mobile PCs instantly. Drivers are
provided for Novell NetWare 3x, NetWare Lite, and Microsoft Windows For
Workgroups. The RangeLAN is powered from the host computer's battery and
has a data rate of 242 Kbits/s. Error detection/correction includes
spread-spectrum coding/decoding, hardware CRC-16, and firmware logical
link control. Three independent channels are provided over the frequency
