Wireless LAN supports
IEEE 802.11b
While still compatible with the previous 2-Mbit/s
standard, the WaveLAN Turbo wireless-LAN system
complies fully with the recently approved IEEE
802.11b high-rate standard. The system consists
of an access point, PC Cards, and either ISA or
PCI cards.
Features include data rates of up to 11 Mbits/s,
a choice of security levels, and low power
