Wireless node handles six thermocouples

The TC-LINK-6CH wireless thermocouple node provides six thermocouple channels, 24-bit delta-sigma ADC, an embedded cold-junction-compensation sensor, real-time clock, and, optionally, a relative humidity sensor. The 2.4-GHz, 802.15.4-compatible unit stores up to 300,000 data points in its 2-Mbyte flash memory.

The node supports type J, K, R, S, T, E, and B thermocouples, takes 1 sample/min on all thermocouple channels, and draws 85 μA on average, permitting 10 months continuous operation from its internal Li-ion rechargeable battery. A starter kit with node, USB base station, charger, and system software is also available, as is development software for creating LabVIEW, Visual Basic, and C++ applications.
