Would you feel safe letting your child fly this drone?

Odyssey Toys showed us its Turbo Runner NX drone at CE Week 2016, which is targeted for kids 8 and up

Capable of climbing walls and ceilings effortlessly, the Turbo Runner NX created by Odyssey Toys is a master of all tricks. Deemed a miniature version of the company’s best-selling Sky Runner NX, the climbing and rolling drone is the closest you’ll get to a 4×4 in the skies.

Transitioning from flight to running mode, the Turbo Runner NX darts across walls, dashes across ceilings, and will even run down staircases. The drone is capable of indoor and outdoor flights, has a rolling cage that protects it from crashes, and is equipped with a next-gen 6-axis gyro.

Its design mimics a real-life Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) developed in conjunction with the U.S. Navy, and, thanks to its patented cage, any force of impact it experiences is minimized.

What Odyssey Toys says is most notable about the tiny quadcopter is that it is equipped with auto flight, ensuring stability, and is geared towards children 8 & up, while other drones are marketed only for kids 12 & up.

What do you think? Would you feel safe letting your child fly this drone?
