WVGA, WXGA LCDs target industrial applications

The 7-in., 8-in. and 12-in. wide format LCD modules have long-life LED backlights and wide operating temperature ranges. They suit professional and industrial display applications. These a-SI TFT displays feature WVGA (Wide Video Graphics Array) resolution available in two 7.0-in. displays and an 8.0-in module. The 12-in. display offers a WXGA (Widescreen Ultra Extended Graphics Array) resolution with wide viewing angles and daylight readability.

Three of the four displays, the two 7-inch and one 8-inch, are equipped with white LED backlight units (BLUs) with a lifetime of 100,000 h. The 12.1-inch WXGA display’s LED BLUs have a lifetime of 60,000 h. The 7.0-in. NL8048AC19-14F and 8.0-in. NL8048AC21-01F have a luminance of 1,000 cd/m2, and the 12.1-inch NL12880BC20-07F has a luminance of 1,800 cd/m2. The 7.0-in. and 8.0-in. modules have an operating temperature range of -30° to +80°C, and the 12.1-inch module offers -20° to +70°C.
