XMC card features P.A. Semiconductor CPU

The VM31 XMC processor card uses the P.A. Semiconductor PA6T-1682M 2 GHz dual-core CPU with up to 4 Gbytes of DDR2 SDRAM with ECC. The boards processor has 2 Mbytes of L2 cache, dual DDR2-1067 memory controllers, and 24 high-speed SerDes serial I/Os capable of supporting PCI Express, SGMII, and XAUI.

The card has quad Gigabit Ethernet interfaces with standard PMC and XMC connectors and support for PCI/PCI-X and up to 16-lane PCI Express. The XMC SerDes lanes can be reconfigured to support XAUI and SGMII, and the card has 1 Mbyte of boot firmware. ($3,895 — 6 weeks ARO.)
