Available with less than 5 days lead time, the ASG series crystal oscillators (XOs) and voltage-controlled XOs (VCXOs) have frequency ranges from 10 MHz to 1.5 GHz with less than 1 ps jitter at 1 GHz carrier over 12 kHz to 20 MHz bandwidth. Frequency stability is better than ±50 ppm (tolerance, stability over temperature and aging) over a 10-year product life, and phase-noise characteristics at high carrier frequencies are said to be exceptional.
The components are available in C (LVCMOS), D (LVDS), and P (LVPECL) versions. Currently, oscillators come in 5.0 x 7.0 x 1.9-mm ceramic SMT packages; 5.0 x 3.2-mm and 2.5 X 2.0-mm packages will be available in December.
