Zener diode targets precision voltage needs of security, sensor devices
Packaged in an SOT-26 case, device has same electrical characteristics as leaded alternatives
The CMXTC935A temperature-compensated zener diode, packaged in a SUPERmini SOT-26 surface-mount case, has a nominal zener voltage of 9.0 V and a maximum allowable voltage change of 95 mV observed at 55, 0, 25, 75°, and 100C. The diode targets applications requiring superior voltage stability over the specified temperature range. Typical end products include test equipment, sensor circuits, and security devices.
The device is a suitable surface-mount alternative to the leaded 1N935A, and has comparable electrical characteristics. The SOT-26 package occupies approximately 3 x 3 mm on the circuit board, has a power dissipation rating of 350 mW, and has an operating and storage junction temperature rating of 65 to 150C. The maximum profile of 1.2 mm makes the CMXTC935A suitable for today’s handheld portable test equipment. The device is available bulk packed or as 3,000 pieces on 7-in. tape and reel.
