The AP7866 metered rack power distribution unit (PDU) in a zero-U form-factor supports customer applications using up to a four-blade chassis in a single enclosure. It allows two PDUs per rack. The design minimizes cable congestion, eases access to hot-swappable blade components, and supports three C13 receptacles to provide power for additional equipment. The PDU also includes current metering on each phase and on each of six load banks.
The metered PDUs provide a warning for power overloads, and users can define alarm thresholds with real-time local and remote alerts. The units provide power utilization trends and users can access and configure the PDUs through secure Web, SNMP, or telnet Interfaces complemented by the company’s management platforms.
