The GP570 Zigbee single chip solution allows the development of low cost motion-enabled remote controls — addressing the growing demand for smarter and intuitive navigation of interactive entertainment services offered by operators. It is a highly integrated single chip RF4CE remote control SoC solution with integrated support of motion sense algorithms based on combined accelerometer and gyroscope input for advanced gesture recognition and smooth and accurate movement control.
Features include operational currents of 22 mA in receive and 20 mA (at 0dBm) in transmit, a supply voltage of 2.1 to 3.6 V, and a transmit power down to 3 dBm (adjustable down in 1 dB steps). The part requires no shielding, LP filters, baluns, or chip antennas.
It is IEEE 802.15.4 compliant and operates in the worldwide 2.4-GHz ISM-band. In addition, it offers 9-dB more reliable link budget compared to single antenna systems and 30-dB better robustness to Wi-Fi interference.($1.50 ea/volume quantity available now).
