BGA chip socket performs to 10 GHz with 1-dB loss

Designed for 1.0-mm-pitch BGA chips, such as the Renesas 256 PBGA and Cypress 256 FBGA, the SS-BGA256E-01 BGA socket operate at bandwidths up to 10 GHz with less than 1 dB insertion loss. Heat dissipation is up to 7 W without an additional heat sink, and up to 100 W with a custom heat sink.

Self-inductance is typically 0.62 nH per pin. Operating temperature range is from −40 to 150°C, and current capacity is 4 A per contactor at ambient temperature. ($1,598—available now.)
